2025年4月，济南开元外国语小学第十九届“开元之星”英语风采大赛举行。作为以外语与国际理解为特色的学校，开元坚持“培养具有中华根基、国际视野、跨文化交流能力的复合型基础性人才”的使命创新英语实践平台。全体开元学子在为期三周的赛事中，以语言为舟，开启国际理解教育新征程。
In April 2025, the 19th "Kaiyuan Star" Oral English Competition was held at Jinan Kaiyuan Foreign Language School. As a school featuring foreign languages and international understanding, Kaiyuan is committed to the mission of "nurturing foundational talents, rooted in Chinese essence, embracing global perspectives, and mastering cross - cultural proficiency".We create the opportunity for our students to take part in this competition during these three weeks.
初赛阶段创新采用 “双轨并行” 选拔机制，笔试对标国际权威测评，科学评估语言能力；口试以演讲、配音、故事演绎等多元形式，展现英语风采。最终，各班通过“素养+应用”复合评价体系，选拔出综合能力前十强选手，为后续赛程注入强劲活力。
In the preliminary round, we adopted a "dual - track " selection mechanism. The written tests and oral tests are according to the international assessments to evaluate the student's comprehensive English skills. Finally, each class selected the top ten contestants to take part in the competition.
低段奇趣探索场（1-2年级）：“环球趣配音”环节，同学们化身配音演员，用细腻情感与感染力，赋予经典动画角色鲜活灵魂。“环球寻异趣”环节，面对高相似度图片，他们在 30 秒内快速找出 5 处差异，并用英语从多方面细致描述，尽显观察力与英语表达力。
Junior Section (Grade 1-2): In “Global Fun Dubbing”, contestants became voice actors. “Seeking the Difference” challenged them to identify and describe five differences in 30 seconds.
中段实践应用场（3-4年级）：“环球识华夏” 环节，学生用英文讲述传统文化故事，以流畅表达彰显语言功底与文化自信。“环球气象站” 环节，选手化身气象主播，随机选取九座城市天气数据，融合地理知识，用英文专业播报，展现英语应用与跨学科知识储备。
Intermediate Section (Grades 3-4): In the "Global Understanding of China", the students told the traditional Chinese stories in English. In the "Global Weather Report", the contestants acted as meteorologists, delivering professional forecasts for nine cities while integrating geography knowledge.
高段思辨挑战场（5-6年级）：“环球新闻台” 环节，学生化身 BBC 主播，以纯正发音播报全球热点，展语言能力与国际视野。“环球翻译官” 环节引入 AI 协作系统，学生与孔子、屈原等虚拟人物 “跨时空对话”，用英语诠释文化内涵，让英语成为传播中华文化、厚植文化自信的桥梁。
Senior Section (Grades 5-6): In “Global News Reporting”, the students became BBC anchors, delivering world news. The “Global Interpreter” used AI to enable 'cross-era dialogues' with virtual icons like Confucius and Qu Yuan.
“英语接招吧” 环节紧张刺激，现场随机抽选观众挑战多元题型。从专注听力精准作答，到欢快演唱英文 Chant，再到标准朗读、流畅阐释图片，全方位检验学生英语综合能力，点燃赛场激情，尽显英语学习的活力与风采。
The "English Challenge" was intense and exciting. The audience were randomly selected on - site to answer different questions.
英语嘉年华以 “童声筑梦・剧说千秋・思辨未来” 三大篇章开展。一二年级学生传唱世界童谣，三四年级化身戏剧主角重现经典，五六年级围绕电子书与纸质书等辩题展开英文辩论，各学段学生在活动中展现不同的英语学习风采。
The English Carnival unfolded in three chapters: "Children’s Voices”, “Drama through the Ages" and "English Debates". Grade one and two students sang beautiful rhymes, grade three and four students played the roles of classic drama characters, while grade five and six students engaged in English debates on topics like e-books versus printed books, showing different language skills.
活动尾声，全年级英文大合唱将氛围推向高潮。舞台上，高低年级学生并肩而立，以清澈嘹亮的嗓音共唱英文歌，整齐和声与感染力十足的演绎，尽显英语功底与艺术素养，诠释集体凝聚力，为英语嘉年华画上圆满璀璨的句号。
The event climaxed with a grand English chorus. Pupils delivered a harmonious performance with clear and resonant voices, demonstrating linguistic mastery, artistic flair, and collective spirit.
这场融合语言实践、文化传播与创新思维的盛会，见证了学子英语能力提升，彰显出学校基础教育国际化成果。历下区小学英语教研员谢群主任莅临学校英语比赛现场，高度赞赏选手们自信的台风与卓越的英文素养，并对我校外语与国际理解教育给予充分肯定。济南开元外国语小学将以创新与英语为工具，书写国际化人才培养答卷，助力学子成为兼具家国情怀与国际视野的文化传播者。
This competition highlighted the students’ English proficiency and the school’s international educational achievements.
